We at Avanza Landscaping & Maintenance stand for expertise, creativity and many years of experience. We strive to protect the environment and use only eco-friendly materials.
A growing family makes up the team at Avanza Landscaping & Maintenance. We have a master gardener, specialists and an apprentice; we also have interns on a steady basis and we work with several smaller businesses.

On any project that Avanza is working on, you’re definitely going to at least meet Noe or Nardy (possibly both). Although Avanza is a family business, with uncles, fathers, and brothers working on the team, it is Noe and Nardy who put the puzzle pieces together.
Noe was born and raised in Arlington, Virginia, where he graduated from H-B Woodlawn Secondary Program in 2008. He followed up high school by attending George Mason University where he received a scholarship from the Bailey Family Foundation. His studies included a degree in Communication and courses focused on Business Administration.
Nardy was born and rasied in Cochabamba, Bolivia, and came to the United States as a gift from the family for graduating high school with honors. Upon arriving, she immediately enrolled in classes to further her education. She is currently studying at Northern Virginia Community College with plans to graduate in Landscaping Design and Business Administration.
Leonidas is originally from Honduras, but has been in the United States since 2001. In Honduras, Leonidas has worked on a large farm that harvested bananas, oranges, corn, and sugar cane. He has also worked in masonry in Honduras. Ever since coming to the United States, Leonidas has worked mostly in landscaping, for a couple of the larger companies.
John Bennett comes from a family of landscapers. He has been instrumental to the growth of Avanza Landscaping. John is a graduate of T.C. Williams High School and currently attends Northern Virginia Community College.
Allan is the son of Leonidas (we try to keep family together) and has only recently come from Honduras, where he was studying, but had not declared his major yet. Here, he has quickly picked up the tricks of the trade, and is an expert with all the equipment, in addition to sod and french drain installs.
Obdulio is also from Honduras and has been in the United States for over 15 years. His experience includes also working strictly in agriculture, then has come here to work solely in landscaping. Obdulio loves it very much, and has consistently made changes in lifestyle just to keep working in landscaping. He has worked for a few of the larger landscaping companies, and a couple of smaller ones like Avanza Landscaping.
Hector is new to landscaping but very close to the family. He’s a tremendous leader and is always eager to provide the best customer service. We look forward to introducing him to you at your next project.
Gilbert is part of the family. He has been doing landscaping since 2005. Back home he loves taking care of his farm with cows, chickens, and horses. With Avanza he just goes by the name of “Tio”.
Isaias is one of our hardest working guys. He is always eager to learn and loves working outside. Family means the world to us at Avanza, and Isaias dedicates all his free time to his family.
